Since a long time I had the dream to become a yoga teacher, but to find a suitable school was not so easy. After a long research I came across this academy. I had the feeling that this school would be special and I was right and did a 500-hour teacher training there right away. I knew I would learn about yoga, but it was so much more than I could have ever imagined. The Nepal Yoga Academy is a fantastic yoga school. Dr. Chintamani is so experienced and knowledgeable in the field that his insightful teachings offered me a life-changing experience.

I have experienced remarkable and world class teaching methods in the effective asana workshops, which has improved my own practice so much. I learned lessons for life through the deep insights into philosophy and experiences with meditation and breathwork. I really enjoyed the approach of the dedicated and competent teachers, who also provided instruction in different asana styles. But most importantly, thanks to the opportunity to teach a few times myself, I feel well trained and ready to give classes.

During the stay, I felt very comfortable and part of a big family, where the teachers, staff, and other students were there to help me with anything I needed. The atmosphere in the yoga hall was great, the food was super delicious, vegetarian and nutritious. From the school you have a panoramic view of the Kathmandu valley and you can hike down for local food and grocery stores, or you can go for small hikes, visit ancient temples, waterfalls or mountain viewpoints. It’s an immersive experience that I highly recommend. I found myself swimming in a rich sea of wisdom and in-depth learning, and I truly feel empowered to pass on, what I have learned in my course. Thank you for everything, it was truly amazing.
