And, also works on your arm balance and helps improve full-body awareness. Since, we practice yoga to boost immunity; this four-limbed staff pose helps strengthen the immune system too.

How to do Chaturanga Dandasana

  • Place your palms under the shoulders and your knees just under the hips.
  • Slowly, bring your toes backward one by one and tuck on the mat keeping your knees off the ground and align your pelvis with your shoulders for Plank pose.
  • Keeping your whole body straight, bend your elbows to 90 degree.
  • Engaging your core muscles hold this posture with normal breathing.
