Balasana is an important yoga posture to enhance immunity. It tones the abdominal muscles, strengthening the mechanism of digestion. It helps calm the brain, relieves stress, eases lower back pain, and creates a nice stretch in the hips and thighs. It also increases blood circulation in your body.

How to do Balasana (Child’s Pose, variation)>

  • Sit in Vajrasana.
  • Lean forward, lowering your head to the floor.
  • Bring your hand alongside your body with palms facing up.
  • Chest onto the thighs and taking a slow deep breath hold the posture.
