Nepal Yoga Academy is such a special place that I knew I wanted to return. After completing my 200 hour YTT course here in April/May, I asked Dr. Chintimani if I could come back and be of service to him and the Academy. I am blessed to have returned as a volunteer here for the next couple of months.
I am excited to watch and assist, as other aspiring yogis and yoginis embark on their journeys as new teacher trainees. I am also thrilled to have the opportunity to meet and enjoy the company of the many retreat guests that come to the Nepal Yoga Retreat. There are guests from all around the world coming for a respite before and after trekking, a long holiday getaway, or even to get their very first experience with yoga. Everyone is always so lovely and interesting and they all seem to leave with a smile and a greater sense of peace.
This time, the rains have begun and everything is lush and green. The transformation from the sunny and drier days of spring are breathtaking. The Nepal Yoga Academy and Retreat are located in such a magical area of Nepal. This is the perfect place to come to reflect, relax, learn, and explore. It is one of the most serene places I know.
