    • We invite you to join our 9 day Yoga tour intentionally organized  to  offer both inner and outer exploration, wrapped within a trekking adventure. We aim to help you experience the countless benefits of Yoga and the pleasure of touring the wondrous Himalayas of Nepal. We invite you to join our Yoga trek tour across the country, which will cover beautiful vistas and meeting wonderful people, whilst exploring and practicing.

      Each day will initiate with yoga class tailor made to fit your bodies’ need for that day and we’ll close our evenings with another carefully designed yoga class to stretch our tired muscles and allow a comfortable sleep.

      In between, we will fill our days with the country’s authentic culture, breathe in the majesty of the Himalayas, and/or discover Nepal’s rich lush jungles and its amazing wildlife, including rhinos, elephants, leopards and deer.

      You will be escorted by well-trained and knowledgeable local guides throughout your

      tour and your daily yoga teachings are provided by long standing, highly reputable, yoga instructor(s).
      You will be in the best hands for 9 days, giving you the opportunity to fully experience what your mind, body, mind and soul can do, whilst touring and exploring not only Nepal but yourself, as well.

      The adventure will start and end in Kathmandu

      • Kathmandu- Home to Monkey Temple and the world’s largest, Buddhist Stupa in Bodnath.
      • Bahktapur- a medieval town famous for Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Sight
      • Pokhara- a picturesque town situated on a lake Begnas overlooking the Annapurna mountains
      • Chitwan- Nepal’s national park of rich and diverse flora and fauna, and elephant riding
      The Yoga will be tailored to your level/requirements, with an emphasis on –
      • Sun Salutation – Surya Namaksar- because there is no better way to start and end the day in Nepal’s sacred spots.
      • Postures – Asanas – to further your practice but also with beautiful backdrops and scenic views (making the best photos ever).
      • Meditation and Breathing – Pranayama – an emphasis on how to take everything in and savouring every moment.
      • Relaxation – Yogi Nidra – ensuring you’re recharged and full of energy everyday, helping you to keep exploring everything Nepal has to offer.
      • Yoga philosophy discourses – on topics such as Life and Death, Liberation, Health, Yogic food and Lifestyle.

      Day 1

      Arrival in Kathmandu
      After arriving at Kathmandu Airport, you will be driven to Nepal Yoga Acadamy where you’ll check in and relax in the beautiful fruit garden, soaking up the stunning view. In the evening you will give a briefing session, to introduce travel routes and schedule, especially the yoga lessons.

      Day 2
      Kathmandu
      You’ll take a short taxi ride to Nagarkot and watch the beautiful sunrise over the Himalayas. Then you’ll head back to the Academy for nasal cleansing, yoga and relaxation followed by a delicious healthy breakfast.
      After breakfast we will go explore the famous world heritage sight Bhaktapur. Steeped in history, this is the perfect place to soak up beautiful Nepalese architecture and culture. You’ll enjoy a lovely lunch there, then finish the day back at the Academy with an hour yoga session, mediation and dinner.
      Day 3
      Kathmandu
      Start the day with nasal cleansing, yoga and relaxation. After breakfast you will go to visit the Monkey Temple and Boudhanath, a landmark building of Nepal, the largest stupa in the country and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. After that you will proceed to Patan and visit the Krishna Mandir, which is known as “the miracle of Nepalese architecture art”. As the sun sets, you’ll head back to the academy for an evening yoga class, mediation and dinner.
      Day 4
      Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park
      There will be a hour yoga and relaxation in the morning. After breakfast you will take a bus to Chitwan, stopping off at the small town of Kurintar for some lunch. Upon arrival in Chitwan, you’ll have free time for the rest of the day, before enjoying a stretching yoga and mediation class.
      Day 5
      Chitwan National Park
      The day will as usual, start with yoga, relaxation and breakfast. Chitwan is Nepal’s national park of rich and diverse flora and animals. Today you will be driven around the jungle in a jeep to see all of the wonderful animals in there natural habitat. The afternoon will consist of washing, playing with and riding the elephants. After a busy day you’ll unwind with a restorative yoga and mediation session, followed by an evening meal and discussion time.
      Day 6
      Chitwan to Pokhara
      After a short yoga session and breakfast you will head by car to the Pokhara. Pokhara is a picturesque town situated on a lake Begnas overlooking the Annapurna mountains. Once you’ve arrived in Pokhara we will walk along the beautiful lake side then explore the bustling city. The evening will conclude with an yoga, mediation session, spiritual talk and dinner overlooking the lake.
      Day 7
      Pokhara
      After yoga and breakfast you can go and explore the many sights of Pokhara. From paragulding, zip lining, hiking, canoeing on the lake or visiting many of the beautiful surrounding temples there is something to suit everyone. After an action packed day you can relax and enjoy yoga and an evening meal.

      Day 8
      Pokhara to Kathmandu
      After a morning yoga session and hearty breakfast, we will depart for Kathmandu by car, this will take XX. Once we’ve arrived back at the Academy we will go on a small trek to stretch the legs followed by a sauna. We will then have our last evening yoga session, followed by mediation and a farewell evening meal.
      Day 9
      Kathmandu
      Enjoy your last yoga and relaxation session overlooking the beautiful Bhaktapur valley. Then after breakfast and farewells, it will be time to check out.
